...from my local beach!
Pentax K3ii, DA* 16-50mm, ND64, tripod
Rocks up at my local beach which is a 5 minute walk from my front door and the police chopper was flying about with the loud hailer going giving a public announcement saying something that I couldn't hear. Thought nothing of it so carried on setting up. Someone online says the police announcement from the helicopter was saying there was a man on the loose and to lock all doors and not go outside, so my wife calls me saying get the hell back to dodge. I'd literally just set up when all this happens, so snapped this image off, and then legged it back home. By the time I'd got home, camera on tripod still, it was a false alarm and it was a 13 year old girl that had gone missing but had been found! Good that it was a positive outcome but with I'd known that before legging it back home! 5 minute wonder image here then!
