. . . if you're into dawn/dusk red sky photography.
Now I may be totally wrong on this but it looks like the weather set up may be ideal for some decent red skies at sunrise and sunset. It's just that the next few days will see to variable stratocumulus (flattened mid-layer cumulus which is often patchy in nature) and clear slots almost anywhere in the UK (the further the south and east you are, the more variable and broken the cloud cover will be) and my gut instincts (not terribly scientific I know) is telling me it should make for some decent red sky photography.
Plus our weather will have a long fetch all the way in from the distant part of the Atlantic while at the same time a high pressure system will be influencing our weather and that will produce the variable layers of medium high clouds and a change in the general humidity in the air. Alll that will be ideal for red skies.
Like I said, I could be wrong on this so I'm not going to be held responsible for tired eyes due to getting up at a silly o-clock just to get that ideal red sky photograph. Evenings should be good for it, though!
Just a thought and one I'm sticking my neck out for.
