A project on people

I want to do a photo project on people who dress to make a statement about their taste in music.
As I live in London, obviously Camden Town is an ideal place but can anyone else think of ideal places to go?

I'm not sure there are as many centres of both music and fashion any more. It used to be Carnaby Street and the Kings Road, but these have become heavily commercialised. Your best bet would be to look out for the lots of music festivals in London.

Go stand outside different concert venues, Rock one night, Punk the next, blues, reggae, the list is endless.

Back in the days when we used to finish partying we'd hang out in MacD's or a local cafe in Kings Cross for breakfast, you see some sites then everyone would be to wreaked to object to having a shot taken

I'd look around the local area for local gigs or music clubs that cater to different types of music and then look at attending.

You could start rumours on Twitter about various bands playing 'a secret gig' at a venue near you and then just sit outside with your camera and wait and see who turns up :shrug:.

Just try not to list either Bob Marley, John Lennon, Sid Vicious or Freddy Mercury on the bill, or people might see thorugh it .

have a look on the net for all the upcoming music festivals mate, and travel around to them. ie. you might even want to go as far as the edinborough jazz festival for example?
