Been rooting around in my parents junk and found this.............

Practice_040.jpg

My mum said she had it before she was ten years old.
All the mechanics seem to work and it says on the inside to use Kodak 620 film. Is that still available?
I can remember playing with it as a kid but it seemed to be the size of two house bricks then.

My brother found one of these and he has just said thah he could not find the film but if you have 2 spools you can use a different type thats the same actual film but is on a different size spool. All he did was transfer the other film onto the spare spools and used it like that - you need someone to tell you which film is the same though as he could not remember!

Just been informed that its 120 film thats the same, just the spools that are different :)

Thanks for the info.......Got to clean it up first!

This was my dad's when I was a kid. I can remember thinking why he would go mad when us kids were playing around with it.
Now I know why!!

Amazing, a box brownie and the Halina 35X were my first 2 cameras.

still got them somewhere along with a weston light meter and a range finder for the halina shoe socket.
