lovely shots the robin is in my top5 birds and i had a lovel 2hr session with one on sunday.
which i will post soon. i wonder if it was a battle scar or an attack?

Lovely shots Paul - far and away the best I've seen you post.( bird shots - that is) That 40D is really showing it's worth. (y)

Robins are aggressive little sods - they'll fight to the death over territory and mating rights. Bit like people really! :D

was trimming ivy with electric trimmer obviously near his nest, it came in between me and wall he was upright, with both wings at full stretch , had to admire it, totally wish i had camera it was amazing to see.

no 1 is a cracker :) 2nd doesnt do as much for me im afraid but i think thats just personal preference rather than a technical reason :)

sorry to copy but that's about it for me...

the detail is super.. the eye is great imo

Very nice, #1 is my personal favourite of the two, but they are both cracking shots.
