A simple calender for my desktop

Im looking for a simple calender i could use on my desktop. Something that allows me to click on a date say september 12th and add things to it so that i can start to put things in order.

I just dont seem to be able to find anything anywhere and the useless one i have on my gadgets (windows7) does naff all i just dont see the point of my they even made it:shrug:

Looks very nice indeed. Wasn't looking for a calander program as such but having read this thread, I downloaded it along with the SE7EN skin and am quite impressed.

Another big fan of Google Calendar here, you can setup different colour calendars to keep track of different things, I have one colour just for people birthdays and a different colour for me and my partner, it can email you reminders and it syncs with my phone. Fab and free.
