The river dee, taken from the suspension bridge looking back upstream.

The image is virtually straight from camera with just a couple of twinkly lights cloned out and a final pass of usm after the border. No cropping, no noise wear.

Comments please.

Lovely capture!
Not so sure I like the bordering effect you have, that aside, I really like the brown tone of it all, and the lighting reflecting out onto the water is spot on.
The tall tree centered at the back works really well aswell.

The picture is really nice, has a very calm feel to it.

The border effect does nothing for me though

Are you the same Viper Tom from Sax-P?

EDIT: sorry Brian thats totally off topic.... posted before thinking!

The Border is a bit marmite isn't it, I wasn't 100% when I added it. I think a solid black border might bring it out a tad more.

The exif was 2 secs at f7.1 iso 500, using a 24-70f2.8 and a 5dmk2

Thanks for the comments so far.

I love that DF, the reflections make it. Not too keen on the border as it doesnt seem to be a continuation of the image but better than a plain border.

The border is the full size image with a smaller copy of the image inset.

My own reservations on the border are the light and dark sides and the noticeable break in the wall line on the left. I quite liked the B&W toning of the border though. It looked better on the black background of CS :D

can you post a version sans border?
