A Trip To The Antiques Shop

Yes
So it was pretty dismal down south today and the missus was getting stir crazy, so we popped out for a drive and ended up at the local antiques shop

I was chuffed when the owner said it was fine to take pictures (always polite and ask).

Only problem was that I had my 16-35 f/4L on as I was hoping to get something whilst we were out, in decent light for my 52/365 so the images weren't as good as i'd hoped

Still, I enjoyed myself and that's what counts

I love the animal walking stick but the doll in #1 looks so spooky!

I cant fault any of the shots
the background in all the pics is very interesting and probably benefits from the f4 lens and you have managed the lighting very well.

Thanks Andy, very much appreciated. Now that you mention it, yes, I suppose the f4 does help. We are always self-critical though eh

I love these, it's nice to see something a bit different. The lighting and composition are spot on!

Of course, I like the BEARS (just might be biased!) and
the walking stick. :)(y)

I think the book shot is very good, very advertising sort of thing but they all look a little warm?
Always good to practice and you never know what you see.

I really like these, Ian. Just my cup of tea :)
