A very daft slide question

Evening all,

Daft question - sorry don't know the answer as I missed slides first time round.

I'm scanning in a load of my fathers old Kodachrome slides, now the side that has VIEW FROM THIS SIDE on it, is that the side that faces the scanner or the side that you look at from?

Doesn't seem to make much different scanning, but I cannot find a single point of reference in any of the slides to make it easier.

Thanks!

VIEW FROM THIS SIDE - and you're looking at the picture the correct way round!

 Thanks for that, didn't know if it meant thats how you put it into the projector or something!

Put the slides in the scanner so that the "View From..." is pointing towards the scanner head - i.e. for a flatbed scanner, this means with the "View From..." facing downwards.
