Well, 3rd time lucky, I finally passed the Alamy QC process (Initially I did it purely to see if I could get accepted). I've gone to the next stage where you set all the rights stuff, and put in keywords and so on, but how do you get your images so people can see them?! Is there some big button somewhere saying "GO" or something?!

I can see them under the 'manage' section, but they're not there when I search! Any advice? Or do I just need to wait, and they'll pop up eventually? Can anyone shed some light, because I'm confuzzled! Cheers!

Edit: Just had another play, they're under the "Ready" section, how to I move them to the "On Sale" section?! Sorry for the numpty question! :D
 
Ah right, thanks a lot for that! I just had a look at their old managing site, and there's a description that says they'll be uploaded within 24 hours (I'll believe it when i see it!), but I was using the new one which doesn't have that description anywhere.

I'm not exactly relying on the income, but if anything does sell I'll be over the moon! What is the payout limit? £250 comes to mind, but I can't quite remember....

I have had many views and zooms and still no sale :( Am just waiting for that "Big One" !!
 
This can be quite nerve wrecking at first. I have some pics on a stock site, I have only made $184 in a year but it good spends for the smaller photo related bits i want to get, none of the pics i put up are 'valuable' to me in a personal way, a lot were taken for the purpose of putting on there & forgetting about. All the best with it, just keep scouting round & try and keep up with what's selling :)
