Anyone had any luck with these? I've ordered one and the quality was poor. Air bubbles, etc. I had a sample sent from another company and I'm not pleased with it either, although I like the sample more than the first. There are imperfections everywhere... They are small and maybe I'm being to critical...

I originally thought the print would actually be printed directly to the acrylic. The two companies I've used so far simply mount (I say simply, probably a difficult process) a regular (maybe regular? not sure) print to the back of a piece of acrylic.

Maybe I was hoping for too much? For the price, you would think better quality would be a must.

what price and size did you order as interested in this for corporate work

My first order was a 30x20 print and it cost me around $150 USD. I ordered a b/w intentionally so I could see the quality. B/W with a lot of black on the print REALLY show the flaws. lol. It honestly isn't a bad medium and looks good from a distance, but up close, it just doesn't look worth it.

Also, supposedly putting the print in a well lit area will make it "shine"... but it really doesn't.

Most companys print on paper then mount on to the acrylic.

But there is another to methods I have heard of:

One is to print the image on paper and the sandwich inbetween to sheets of acrylic, (which IMO i dont like the sound of as you will see the line inbetween the the two)

the other one was to print reverse on clear vinyl then stick it one to the acrylic then stick some white vinyl on the back of the clear. but this can be tricking to do.

you can also print on acrylic but im not sure how that is done but the results arent that good from the ones I have seen

I ordered an acrylic print, it was a2 size and cost around £48 inc delivery (£38 excluding).
They sent 2 prints (one for free as they were using my image to trial a different printer)

The 1st was a print that had been pressed onto the back of an acrylic (not sandwiched). It does look at though it's been printed on the acrylic though.

The 2nd was actually printed on the acrylic (aparently this cost around £28 for a3). However, due to the acrlyic being transparent, it looked pretty bad (because of there being no white ink). If it had been printed on white acrylic then it might have looked acceptable.

I think they are expensive for what they are.
