Guys,

I'm faced with the rather daunting task of processing 100's of RAW images for the 1st time using Lightroom.

I've no experience of raw processing whatsoever and would love to know of any good tutorials on the Lightroom software ?

Many thanks in advance.

I guess a good starting point would be to find the D90 plugin for Lightroom...is this straightforward enough ?

tia,
Mike.

Scott Kelby and Martin Evening are supposed to have the best books out on Lightroom - although I've not got either of them and am mainly self taught from internet how-to's.

Check them out on Amazon.

Currently weighing up the two books to improve my processing - they've got quite different writing styles so I'm trying to decide which I prefer.

Jeez guys - it's like driving a car the 1st time.....theres so much to it

I was hoping to open a nef file press the 'autofix' button then save :D

Think I might process the jpg's in picassa instead and save lightroom for the ones that need salvaging.

Anyone got the D90 wedding pics auto correct plug-in

Lightroom can seem a bit intimidating at first, it's actually fairly quick and easy to use once you have had a play. I know a good few people who use LR who just can't get their heads around photoshop.
One of LR's great uses is it's batch ajusting, if your exposures are the same for say 10 shots, you can ajust them all as one, it can save ages. Wayne
