Hi there, I'm usually pretty good at resolving things like this, but I'm stumped.
Whenever someone in the house is using the landline I have no internet. For me, this one of two things. Either interference on 2.4ghz, or the adsl filter(s)
With former, I have ruled this out, since when the internet goes off I get the router flash up instantly and say it's not connected to the internet. This says to me that the device is still communicating wirelessly, but its the router that can't see the phone line.
This then points to item 2, however I only have two connections to the landline, which is skybox and dect phone. The issue is still there if I disconnect the sky box, and I've tried 3 different filters into where the phone is plugged in. FYI the router and phone are both into the same phone socket, and it's also the same master socket.
I'm away to buy a new phone, but does anyone have any ideas before I start buying stuff in desperation?
