Advice for lens in studio environment

Hi

I've hired a studio to take some shots of my daughter and her friend.

I have a dilema though. :)

It's a large studio, so my 70-200 will definately be fine for head and shoulders etc.

However, what should I do for shots where she might be laying down, or full body shots (standing)? This is going to sound really stupid but I know I'll have to stand a long way back to get a full body shot or one where she's laying down, or her and her friend standing together. Any tips on this? (tips on using a 70-200 to do this?).

I have a sigma 10-20 but I'm worried about distortion. I also have a 50m 1.4.

Any tips etc greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

10-20 Noooooooooooo :D

I did the first lencarta Studio training day and have some studio gear of my own now. The 50 should be fine for full body shots even the 70-200 at 70 if the studio is that large :).
You could have a play with the 10-20 for some fun

Thanks Scott

We're really looking forward to it.

Hi

Yes, on a crop.

I've just got visions of myself and camera being two miles down the road:lol::lol:

I'm only used to shooting horses and dogs.

But, as I say, we're looking forward to it and the more I practice, the better I should get, well that's the theory anyway.
