Hey guys, hope you're not all fed up with these type of questions ? (done a search btw)....but
would doing a wet clean, invalidate any remaining manufacturer warranty (Sony in this instance) ?
I've tried the blower method to no avail, have even got a few specs in the focus screen now too :bang:
Thing is, the camera has hardly been used and now I know it's there,it's bugging me and putting me off from using it :(
Realise it's normally only visible on the smaller apertures but I'm now looking for them
Bought the camera new under 4 months ago
Do I give it a go myself,or have it sent back to Sony ?
Any thoughts much appreciated
Martyn :)

Hey Martyn

I see you are local to me, if I were you I'd contact these guys in Bristol...

http://www.bonwcameras.co.uk/

They cleaned my sensor after I slipped on a muddy path causing the Siggy Biggy 50-500 came off the camera and managed to get dirt inside.

They did it as I waited... £40 all in IIRC.

If you do decide to do it yourself, have a good read through Robert's Tutorial HERE
