African Grey Parrot @ Tropical Butterfly House

Wow, some amazing detail in and around the eye, were you using a macro lens as i assume you got quite close looking at those shots

My favourite is probably the 2nd shot, the pose in 1 is really nice, but the bars in the background are a bit too distracting (i appreciate that can't be helped though)

Indeed, the sharpness is there but I think a tad more DOF
would have complemented them very well.

The renditions of 2 and 3 are very cool as 1 has a green cast!
 
Looks like he's pining for the fjords :(
Lovely shots - though I agree with Kodiak Qc about the DOF :)
