I took a shot a few weeks ago, and we thought it would look quite good aged. The subject holding a parasol in a chair, looked almost like she was in a bath chair. I've attempted to age it by cropping then giving it a Sepia tint, film grain and some vignetting. Does anyone have suggestions on how this might be done better ? What would a picture of the time actually have looked like, and what would you suggest for achieving the desired results ?

Here's the original :

And my attempt to age it:

I think that actually looks quite good as an aged photo. The photo itself doesn't do anything for me per se, but I think you've been successful with the ageing process (except I would have edited out the rather modern logo on the chair ;))

I would say though, that I expected less contrast on it, like this

Thanks very much Marcel. I've cloned out the logo and reduced the contrast.
