Yes
I have just been given some 120 films, with these came 8 rolls of Agfa Scala. After some research it seems that it is a b&w slide film, which I found quite interesting as I didn't know they existed.

They seem to be going on ebay for a ridiculous price, but can you get them developed in the UK? Or should I just put them on ebay, is it a sort after film?

As you've seen the problem is developing. Me and Joxby have been discussing B&W slide recently and it's a pretty speciallist processing job. One place I've found in the UK that does it charges £15 to process 1 roll. How much would you want for 1 roll? Not sure I could afford the processing on any more than that.

Ok, thanks for the help. To be honest I have no idea what it is worth, they have been stored for a while and expired 2004.

the expiry date shouldnt be a problem. Depending on how they've been stored might produce some strange effects.

clip form a quic web search.....

Yes, it is possible to develop Scala at home, it's the traditional b/w-slide
process: develop, bleach, clear, 2nd exposure, 2nd development, fix.

I've done it with the Foma BW-reversal-kit (about $25, will develop 8 rolls).
The slides look great, but you won't reach an EI of 200 (the original scala
process is a high-temp process, the Foma kit is used at 20°C), you have to
rate Scala at about EI 125 when developing at home.

As for doing black and white slides......

Doesn;t look like much fun but certainly acheivable with a little practise :)
