Aiptek SlimTablet 600U Premium II - Any good?

Hi

I'd really like to get a tablet. I've looked at the Wacom Bamboo medium but its a hell of alot of money and I also get the feeling I'm paying for the bundled software which i don't need?

I noticed the Aiptek on Amazon, anyone have any experience? Or could recommend anything else? Must be MAC compatible.

Oh and call me pedantic but I would really prefer one in silver.

I've got the wacom bamboo fun medium, rock solid, well worth it in my opinion, hardly use the mouse now
