Recently I saw a thread about on line printing services, many contributors were happy with Aldi's service. Using those comments I decided to give them a try.

On Monday at around 4.00pm, I placed an order on line for 348 - 6 x 4 prints. The total cost was £18.73 including £1.33 postage and packing. Thats 5p per print.

Tuesday 10.00 am I got an email confirming that the order had been dispatched.

Wednesday 9.00am I received them by post.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the prints, even some very old scanned pictures that were of poor quality due to them being around 50 years or more old have turned out better that I expected, they can’t work miracles but have done a good job even so.

I have also had an email offering 100 prints for free on my next order.

We are ready to complain when things go wrong, but when they go right we should say so too.

I would recommend Aldi printing both for quality, efficiency, and price and will be using them again.

Your absolutely right so here is my praise for the day, just not for Aldi.

I got my first prints from DSCL today a Couple of A3's and 3 x A4's, I ordered these purely as a test and so uploaded a few with their own colour profiles and a couple as sRGB.

Today I received the prints and my faith in online printing services has been restored. I have tried various companies and always end up with prints that are to dark, to light or terrible print quality even though my screen is calibrated.

These prints have blown me away, so well done DSCL. I'll be back for more.

Thay sound like they do a good job, I'll be making an order soon as I have lots of photos to print off.
Cheers for the reccomendation.

I have been shouting about how good Aldi are for ages. They really are brilliant. The only problem with them is that the software is Windows only and the Java version on the web which is supposed to work with the Mac is a little dodgy and packs up regularly. I have started to transfer the images to the Windows PC and uploading them with the Windows software. I am going to try out a couple of the books next for some examples to pass to clients to look at. The quality of Aldi's prints was good enough to use them for my brother's wedding which I shot recently.
