He got hit.. how much more proof do you want? I have covered many such events.. You stay out of range and you use the appropriate lens to get the shot while out of range.. Not sure how you do such shoots but if you think being in range of a shot put is a good idea then good luck with that ) Dont trust that the athlete misses you.. trust the athelete can't reach you.. same with javelin and discus BTW...

I know he got hit, not after proof, I have also covered sports events and have been in the way myself.....many times, he certainly has my sympathy on this outing due to him being out of the net as my previous post.
