I've had an offer from a photographer to build up my knowledge. He said he is willing to give me a couple of hours of his time on either on a studio shoot / outside lifestyle shoot / Photoshop and post production / or general advice.

He is offering this session for nothing!!!:woot: So I need to decide a.s.a.p!

What would you do and why?

Great opportunity...however I would have thought you'd have a preference? What area do you feel you could get the most from? Which one do you have a natural interest in?
 
It would be good to watch the shoot and then see him process the pics through to delivery. Don't know if that is on offer though.

Other than that - choose the area that would most benefit you.

I did something similar. I booked 2 hours in a studio and the owner gave me an hour studio lesson on basic lighting, workflow etc. Very valuable.
