Amazon lcd grip/remote/batteries

Hi there.

Just looking for some spare batteries, and a remote, and have stumbled across:

LCD Battery Grip for Canon 450D 500D 1000D Cameras + IR Remote Controller + 2x LP-E5 Batteries for £49.10

So basically getting the 2 batteries, the remote control plus a grip. Can anyone comment on these, if theyre any good or not? I see a few people like grips in general, but just wondering if this is just a cheap package and not actually worth the spend?

I can probably get 2 batteries for £20 and a remote for a tenner so its £20 for the grip really, still cant decide..
 
I never know if to beleive reviews could it could always be competition putting people off :s reckon its better just going for 2 spare batteries and a remote then and give it a wide berth?
 
Out of interest, any other comments on this? As im going to need spare batteries and a remote soonish
 
just buy the spare batteries+remote imo, although i wouldn't buy the standard remote due to it only working if your in front of the camera, go with a hama remote :)
