Analogue Wonderland Photowalk 2026

The ticket page is up and some of the locations have more details now. Film this time is Ultramax so a bit more useful if the weather is crap!

I went on the Portsmouth one in '24 and it was quite good. They didn't do one in Portsmouth last year, and it looks like they're not going to do one this year either. :sulk:

I'm booked for Leicester. Went in 2024 and really enjoyed it. Was booked for 2025 but double booked myself, however the walk leader posted me the 2 x colour films free of charge.

Edit: single film this year but includes dev & scan. In 24 if you finished the film during the walk the leaders sent the film off to AW and you paid a small amount of postage for neg return.

The Brighton one starts 18min walk from where I live (precise timing because it's next to Hove station and I walked there to get the London train to work) and is lead by someone from Intrepid. What puts me off is the 35mm requirement. Given it's a walkabout, I'd prefer medium format, and the Brighton jaunt doesn't have a "no film" option, so I'd be paying for a film and processing I wouldn't use.

That's a shame there's a no film option. Could you not sign up for the film, take your MF kit and then sell the film in the for sale section?

I'll be using their 35mm film but taking my mamiya C3 and possibly a 16mm or Minox too.

I hope that they include the Castlefield canal in Manchester. I'll take along a B&W film too, in case I finish my colour roll too soon.
Only taking one camera Dave? Why not take three or four HA HA HA !

Did the Blackpool one again. It was quite warm! Luckily it was good and breezy so reasonable. Finished their Kodak whatever and wanged through the Delta 100 that's been hanging about for ages.

It was properly sunny. Last time it was overcast and rather miserable so it was a a lot better this time inspite of it being quite hot.

Just back from the Manchester Photowalk.
Huge thanks to Analogue Wonderland and our walk leader Jordan and her helpers for a great afternoon.
We had probably a few over 20 turn up, with a good spread of age groups and as many girls as boys taking part.

I ran off my colour film, most of which were well considered scenes that people walked into just as I pressed the shutter...
A B&W film was finished off in my P&S, that will be developed this weekend.

Manchester photo walk was a blast, well organised and lots of interesting photographers to meet and chat too, so many different styles and approaches. To actually talk to someone and have chat about their thoughts before a shot was brilliant.

I thought that it was good value without the free film and free development, That was just a BONUS !
