According to flickr I haven't pointed my camera at the moon in 10 years. So last night I thought I would give it a go.
To be honest, the results surprised me. Not least because it is the first time I have seen any sort of colour in the moon.
Which leads me to a question:
This is from a single image with fairly crude processing in lightroom. However I took 20 images with the same settings so that got me thinking I might be able to pull out more detail/colour with stacking. I tried stacking 10 of the images in photoshop but the results were disappointing as it didn't really align the images correctly. So what is everyones prefered stacking method?
