Antc's 52 - UPDATED 19/07 Week 29 - "Capital One, Nottingham"

Well as a lot of you will know yesterday was the World Wide Photo Walk. You can see more information about this here - http://worldwidephotowalk.com/ More importantly the Nottingham version and information can be seen here - http://worldwidephotowalk.com/nottingham-en-uk/ Its was a pretty decent event, met a lot of new faces, alot of whom already knew each other from the Nottimgham Flickr group which I may well look into participating with. All in all a good day, we had some pretty decent weather in the end after it looked for most of the morning as if it was going to chuck it down! This city scape was taken from the Carrington Street canal bridge looking down to the Captial one building. I personally havent taken many shots around the city of Nottingham so it was good to get out there and shoot something diffetent. There is definately a lot to shoot so no doubt will be heading back there very soon.

Having seen some rather nice shots of Wollaton hall recently I decided to have a go myself. I picked a pretty nice day for it to. There is some very pleasant architecture around the hall and grounds. This shot was taken from one courtyard looking into another. I quite like the detail I have captured in the brickwork, some of which is in a state of decay. A sepia tone has been applied to this image to give it an oldy worldy type of feel.
