Yes
Since switching to windows 7 64bit my tablet has stopped working.

I have the bamboo fun pen & touch.

The touch side of it works, just. But the pen is rendered useless, though the tablet is still recognising it, nothing happens on screen.

I have downloaded and installed the latest win7 x64 driver, but it hasn't solved anything.

Is anyone else having these problems?

nope. plugged it in, started working immediately

that was a brand new tablet, and a brand new windows 7 box

Oh, i hope it's not bust then.
I'll hook it back up to an older pc and see if it works.

No probs here, my bamboo works fine with the updated drivers for Windows 7

:agree: nib change on the pen may be needed

You could try posting on the Wacom forum. Wacom themselves seem to reply to posts at least once a day (although not today!).

Got no reply from them at all about my problem with the Pen & Touch stopping Lightroom and Photoshop from working. Their drivers also stop my Lexar UDMA CF USB reader from working on 64-Bit windows.

I have a problem with mine! W7 64. I have the plain bamboo.

What I have to do is run a restore file every time I start windows. Sometimes the table works sometimes not - Generally I'm good at solving these issue but this one has me stumped! I've not contacted Wacom.

Well i have double checked it on a vista machine and it all works fine. Email on the way to wacom now.

did you try it without loading the wacom driver? i seem to remember W7 picks it up as a generic input device but it worked roughly, the proportions on the pad were out but should serve to see if its at least communicating with your PC

No i haven't tried un-installing the drivers.
There is a win7 x64 driver on the wacom site, which is what i am using. But still no joy.

I'm not sure to be honest, i tend to just say yes to any windows update without taking much notice of what they are. I shall have to take a look.

Well i had a reply back from wacom and it's working perfectly now. So in case anyone else has this problem, here is the solution.

Thank you for your e-mail dated 11.05.2010.

Click the START icon and select ALL PROGRAMS. Then select WACOM TABLET and TABLET PREFERENCE FILE UTILITY. In the dialog box that appears, click on the REMOVE MY PREFERENCE FILE button to delete the preferences for the current user. To delete preferences for multiple users on Windows7, Windows Vista or XP systems, click on the REMOVE ALL PREFERENCE FILES button.

Note that administrator rights are required to delete preferences for all users. Relaunch any currently open tablet-aware applications that you may be running.

If there should be further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

just recently mine started acting up, turns out it was the driver causing lightroom to crash, after disabling the tablet service in the list of windows services it worked.

had to download and install the latest driver from wacom, after removing the old driver, now it works ok "knocks on wood"
