Anyone know anything about video playback on xbox 360?

If this is in the wrong section, move please. I think it's okay here though!

Basically, ever since I've had my Xbox 360 I've been able to playback video/photos/music through the Xbox from my networked server.
Suddenly, today, it doesn't work.

Inside the 'Video' section of my server it has 3 folders, which normally I can see. It's just displaying 'No Videos Found.'

Any ideas :shrug:

Fixed it, it just started working again! :shrug:

It could have been your network itself.

If the situation occurs again I'd say switch everything off (xbox, pc) reset your router and then turn everything back on.

It's amazing how often a problem will go away if everything is powered down and then back on.

I have got this set up on my xbox, shared with my laptop.

Every now and then the media extender has a funny 5 minutes. Rebooting the xbox does the trick.
