Yes
My other half is desperately looking to find somewhere they can photograph vintage fairground rides, anyone know of anywhere other than blackpool ?

Timeline events recently had an organised photo event at Vinatge fairground, can't remember the name or location of it but might be worth contacting timeline events to ask them where it was.

Beamish open air museum has a small fairground. Dont know if that would be of any use.

Wheelgate park near Mansfield/Nottingham border

Also there are various steam rallies up and down the country, these often have the traditional steam driven fairground attractions, just google steam rallies and lots of sites will come up, some rallies are pretty big

You've left it a bit late for steam rallies, etc. as they're mostly all over for the year now (the weather tends to deteriorate from Sept onwards). Try an internet search for Carter's Steam Fair and see if they have a web site that lists tour dates, failing that, some Victorian themed town centre Christmas Fairs have steam gallopers and a few old rides and stalls in attendance. Hope this is useful.

For next year the Haddenham Steam Rally takes place on the first weekend of September, apart from steam engines galore it has Ken Fox's Wall Of Death, using Indian motorbikes.
