That could only happen out here!
If the shot was taken down here on the south coast which looks very probable, then many people seem to live in cuckoo land at times.....something to do with too much sun perhaps! lol
Going on how French deal with issues like this, it will go one of two extremes...either it will be laughed off and considered not a big problem dependant upon the response of joe public ( generally speaking the french are very open minded and many are naturists), or someones head will roll and a major investigation will be held which could and probably will go on for many many months/years.

I saw this yesterday on Twitter, not just the photographer, how did it get through the art director, processor and web designer?
How much publicity did it get with the man compared to the amount it would get without him? Why provide a magnifying glass?
They knew exactly what they were doing.

As one of Europes largest sellers of kids clothes, I can't see why they'd knowingly take a chance like this. The publicity could have got very nasty very quickly. The old adage that there's no such thing as bad publicity isn't fit for the information age, where reputations can be ruined in an instant.
