Beginner App for beginner/intermediate

Apps are a little bit ‘narrow’ to be useful as a beginners ‘tool’, the virtual camera is good for a play (there’s online versions) but they don’t teach about ‘photography’.

The best way to learn is to go out there of course but I am looking for something else than a book or YouTube to learn the theory.

An app by its very nature is tiny, photography even at a theoretical level is massive.

The photographers eye is about the best ‘interactive book’

There’s ‘posing’ apps
Exposure apps
Composition apps
Sunset apps
And camera simulators

All tiny functions suitable for apps.

I think that I've found what I was looking for with the Canon Photo Companion app
