Arches National Park....taken over a couple of nights but unfortunately, the moon was too bright so I had to use a Milky way shot from a week earlier at the Grand Canyon!

Very nice Mike. The landscape is wonderfully exposed due to the presence of the moon and obviously as you have suggested, trying to capture the milky becomes an issue. I think the composite in this instance has been done well and the best of both worlds

Thanks, everyone, for the favourable comments! I wasn't sure how they'd go, being composite images, but I'm glad you like them!

When I looked at the first one I thought .. 'funny how the sky can look stuck on in images' then I read the intro...

But really #2 and #3 skies fit in better, in the archway of the 1st the noise in the sky is quite different from the noise in rock.

But otherwise I like them!
