Hi,

Just checking... Is this the right section to talk about architecture photography (apologies if now, I'm new here!)

On that note, is there anyone who likes shooting architecture and buildings generally that has any "top tips"? I've been out of photography for quite a while so I'm basically a beginner again!

Thanks,
Josh

Look for interesting details, doors, windows, repeating patterns, reflections, odd angles, perspectives and don't forget to look up-particularly on old buildings there are all manner of interesting effects.
Watch out for converging verticals, if you can't avoid them (they can be mitigated in software or with expensive specialist lenses) make a feature of them.
Have fun
