You obviously mean Jan's? :D

Bugger! I nearly bought a parrot today - again!

'Scuse me Cedric ... ... but none of those look the slightest Nuthatchy to me ... :cautious:

Good as they may be ... :D

Had a couple of close shaves with our 'hatches yesterday and today but nothing good enough to post up here ...

That's more than I've had then. Haven't seen one. :crying:

I've actually sited a new nut feeder today at a more comfortable distance away from the building for them and at just the right distance for the 500mm with the converter options. I'm hoping the Woodpeckers will feel more comfortable with the feeder too. I haven't had a chance to rig up any landing perches, so if they come - it'll be feeder shots, but sometimes that's better than nuttin'. Jan's Blue Tit was very much a test shot at the new distance.

I wont rest now till I've nailed a Nuthatch - fantastic little bird.

Hand held then? Not bad at all missus. :)

Yiou need that 70-200 2.8, even if you have to go round the back of Rackhams. :D

LOL. Fantastic!

The pod is great. Stick your foot on the hinged thingy at the bottom - squeeze the trigger, pull up to the desired height -job done. To close just squeeze the trigger and collapse it shut.

The closed length is just right for administering Manfrotto rash to would -be muggers. :D
