I am looking at purchasing a Newwer macro slide rail, ,and use it with my Manfrotto ball head. How do i go about attaching the 1/4 inch quick release plate please?

Just check… I think all these rails do have an
attachments underneath for that purpose!

Thanks gents. Just wanted to double check. Knowing my luck it wouldnt fit

Kodiak, like your motto. got it drummed into me in that army and still use it

Be warned...they tend not to be the smoothest moving rails. They can be a bit jerky in operation and the are very top heavy.

How are you going to attach the camera to the rail?

You going to simply screw it on or buy another clamp & plate?

I have the same rail and manfrotto ball head and they work ok together. I attached the qr plate to the rail and directly attach the rail to the camera base.

I have a rail similar to, but not necessarily identical to, the one shown in my link. It's sat in my spares box doing nothing. Yours if you cover post costs.
