Looking for a decent Audio recording & Editing software for my daughter who wishes to get back into her singing, but wishes to edit her own recordings.
I use Audacity for my small amount of editing, but for her she may well need some more in depth software.

Any advise of a good Audio recording & editing software for windows.

Thanks.

There's lots - Reaper, Cubase and Cakewalk being a couple of examples of fully commercial software.

It's been a while since I did much recording.

Seeing this post reminds that about 16+ years ago my nephew asked me to build him a DAW to run Cubase, as I recall including W2K OS cost £520 but can't remember if that included Cubase cost?

I've done a little audio editing in Davinci Resolve (free but steep learning curve) which is primarily video. I ended up going back to Audacity though because simple and effective. Both for voice and music.

[/not a pro]
