My source of info is the link posted above, as I said I don't think this will be a large show and the cloud forecast is not good as usual. The chances for me down here in South Wales are remote to say the least but I keep watching and hoping.

Fingers firmly crossed that we get a show in the North East as I was knocking out the zzzz's during the last one....gutted.

It's seem pretty poor to me. I don't remember it even listing any significant activity when the last large display was a few weeks ago.

X1 class flare released from sunspot 2017 today at 17:48 so could be another chance of aurora shows in a day or two. To early to say if it's heading our way yet but I'll update the thread tomorrow with a better idea of the time and strength of possible displays.
