Moon doesn't rise until after 2am and sky here in Maidenhead is 100% clear.....

.....shame I'm on my way to London for a beer with my friends! No dark skies there.

super clear here nth london/herts, but if anything like last night, will go very misty as darkness falls and LP prob a bit too high. Would love to capture AB, but Mr Yv wont take me to Norway a second time, he says its too cold

Bit cloudy on the horizon at the Moray coast but clear enough for a green glow to show above the clouds and a couple of minutes of purpley flickers.
Then my battery died and discovered my spare was also flat.

Nevermind, got my first ever shots of the AB so I'm well chuffed. Just charging batteries now so I can look at them.

EDIT: Some shots from tonight, not the best but I like them for a first effort. quite long shutter speeds as the AB was quite faint. also showing Venus and Jupiter in shot. Small NR and WB corrections done in lightroom.

been cloudy here for well over a week, nothing seems to be moving or changing at all. I've missed Venus and Jupiter being close to each other and now it looks like I'll miss this too.

By the time this cloud clears we'll need another epoch! :shrug:

Ps. Great pictures Ryan, the first and second are definitely "hang on the wall" material!

So based on last week when there were more cloudy nights than clear nights, I would say that you got the expected outcome
