Back from trip to Barcelona

Yes
I had a good trip with my missus to Barcelona and got back late last night.
It was my first real trip away with the DSLR and found it was good at times but I'm more aware of so much more to learn!

I took three (Canon) lenses: kit lens - 18-55mm IS, 55-250mm IS and 50mm f1.8.

The 18-55 stayed on about 90% of the time with the 55-250 coming into use for the long shots. Only used the 50mm for a couple of shots I think.

It was quite challenging on some shots as the weather was warm and VERY sunny almost every day. I think my camera's (Canon 450D) focus is a bit hit and miss and one or two of the AF points throws off funny results at times and couldn't focus occasionally. Once I've sorted out some pics, I'll post a few.

Did you do Casa Batllo and La Sagrada Familia?

Did you learn how to say please and thank you in Catalan?

Yup, did both places and also a day trip to Montserrat, Las Ramblas, the large market there, Barri Gotic, Parc Guell, Poble and a few other places. It was my second time in Barcelona, was a few years ago when it was cheaper! and this time went with my missus.

I did not learn Catalan and my basic Spanish I previously knew was non existent. Only managed a few words such as thanks, hello, how are you, where is..., ticket.
