slightly bigger size. what you think??
As for Vinyl, i am intending to get a balck and white vinly when i get my garage converted to take my equipment, but until then i was looking at lightweight, compact options to practice with.
cheers
Black vinyl is a better option, although much more expensive, heavy and bulky.
That's fair comment, but if there's enough distance between subject and background (for the intensity of the light to fall off) that isn't a problem.Im not too sure on the differences but Isnt vinyl shinier compaired to cotton muslin?

this is black velvet.
i got a quote from seller 5metres by 5metres 14.50
The best black background of all is black flock (4% reflectance) and next best is black velvet (5% reflectance) but both of these options are incredibly expensive.
I think that both of these materials are velveteen, or velvet-type fabric, not real velvet. Personally I doubt whether either are really non-reflective.I've searched ebay for black velvet and I can see two types. Crushed and non crushed. Which one is better?
1. crushed
2. non-crushed
