so think i might of picked up a bargain so i am aware that there is a part missing from this unit.

so rings up one company that advertise on here and ask the lady if she has the part if not can order it for me, she says go to the main importer, i didnt say i was buying one i said i own one to stop any agro ie companies not wanting to help me etc

so i rang the importer up which is unusual for a company to suggest this

importer then refuse to help and say ring these 2 companies

1st one i rang sounded posh ( lol ) he said he doesnt have it on stock and what was the part number for this unit ( hold on your the dealer )

he told me to ring the importer ( WTF ) explained i did then asks me questions about what price they gave me which i said they diodnt as i had to speak to a dealer ie them

any wya rang another company

Speed Graphic to which the lovely lady said i will enquire and ring you back asap , still awaiting the call not been long but are companies more bothered about selling the product rather than customer service for parts etc

As you didn't buy the product from any of the companies you've contacted it's not really "after sales", although (without knowing the product or part required) I would have thought the importer would have been more helpful...

i dont want to mention the actuall company the advertise here as i know they do a good service and never here a bad thing so dont want to start it

After sales, is normally the support you get after you have purchased the product from somewhere. Eg. Asking FITP what kinda remote you need for the the flash you just bought from him. If you asked him about this, without first buying the flash from him, I wouldn't class it as after-sales.
 
My understanding of After-sales Service is that it's the Service you get from the company after they Sold you something. In other words, how they treat the customer after they've taken their cash.
