I'm looking for a bag / backpack that would hold the following kit:

5D MkII

24-105

70-200

580EXII

Any recommendations, please, guys?

I have the same as Michael & Clarke, it takes my body + 70-200 f/2.8, 400 f/5.6, 90 f/2.5 & 50 f/1.8. Great bag but you can't carry a tripod on it while using the AW cover so bear that in mind.
 
I've the lowepro mini trekker aw and fits my body with lens and 2 other lenses with space available.

Can't remember the name of the new bag that has replaced the mini trekker
 
another flipside 400aw user. mine currently holds a d700 and the fallowing nikon lenses 24-70 2.8 ,70-200 vr2, 85 1.4g ,50 1.8d.
also a sb600 flash ,8x aa batterys plus charger
d700 charger and usb cable, 2 spare d700 batterys
and a few odds and sods like cleaning cloths. this is only in the main compartment.

its a great bag if not just slightly to large. was fine to take on board a plane aswell and has the added saftey with opening the way it does.

i had looked at the mini trekker and it seems to hold alot for its size and get good reviews,but picked the flipside as i was traveling with it.
 
I've tried a few backpacks and most are pretty much the same - I recently bought this Lowepro and really like the design as it doesn't have the usual padded compartment - it's much more flexible, the side access is great too. It also has the advantage of looking very discrete

Your kit will fit in a Flipside 300.

I fit the following in mine:

50D
70-200 F4 IS
17-55 f2.8 IS
580EX Mkii
canon 100 macro
sigma 10-20

plus leads, battery, card etc.

It is a bit of a push with the above in it but all lenes are in seprate compartments.

your kit will not fit in a flipside 200 unless you remove the internal bag at the top.

F-Stop are pricey but can't be beaten for quality, comfort and styling.

I have the Guru with the medium pro ICU and cannot recommend it enough. It will hold all your gear, laptop, packed lunch, jacket and more.

They now have a European warehouse so no issues with import duty / vat and delivery is US$5 and it arrives by DHL in 3 days.

Ditto. FStop gear. I'm going to try and get my review of the guru posted now I've had it 6 months.

They've also got a member of their team based in the UK now.
 
I'm a big fan of Kata bags and use an R-103 for the gear which you have. Will also accommodate up to a 15 inch laptop and has the capacity to carry a travel tripod on the side of the bag, using a supplied harness.

Absolutely awesome bag for landscape / portrait / travel photographers

Most of the Lowepro full-body backpacks (not Fastpack or Slingshot) should manage that if you avoid the smallest version of each model range. Jessops have the ProRunner 300AW on discount at the moment and that should fit the bill nicely with room to expand your kit.

I find my local Jessops worth the slight premium over the discount online sellers (always do an in-store ring-and-reserve when you know what you want) as they have always been very helpful, allowing me to test fit my gear and play about with adjusting the internal dividers whilst deciding. Handy when they're the only stockist in 30+ miles.
 
I've had a Tamrac Ultra Pro 13 shoulder bag and recently outgrown it. I replaced it with a Tamrac Expedition 9 rucksack and its enormous. I've got 2 gripped bodies fitted with lenses, 2 flashguns and a ring flash, 4 or 5 other lenses from a nifty fifty up to a 100-400 L, a netbook and all the other bits and bobs you carry about. Both of my bags were the biggest in the range, but they do them smaller. They are excellently made of great quality materials and very comfortable to carry.

lowepro all the way for me! always had them and cant fault them! Currently have a lowepro prorunner aw450 . get everything youll need in it. plus a laptop pouch and a weather cover! big ole bag tho!
 
Looking at the size of a parcel I'm not supposed to be looking at - I think I've got me a Tamrac Adventure 10 coming my way in a couple of weeks. He he he! Enough for my kit and lunch.
