Banham Zoo - TP meet shots

I met up with a few TP'ers on Saturday for a natter and some shots.

Light was very harsh (phew, what a scorcher!) but I managed to come away with a few that I quite liked

I quite like this sequence:

Somersault... catch!... dropped..!

All very nice, though for me the chilled out Leopard and the Bald Eagle are fantastic.

Like the first black kite one ... you have nailed the exposure considering the bird had only just came in front of the trees, from the really bright blue sky. Was it one of a sequence (ie starting with the sky as the backdrop), or did you wait until it was in front of the trees before shooting?
