Could anybody put me in the right direction for a good battery grip for the nikon d40x?

Thanks in advance.

Ebay would be your best bet.

Hahnel also make one I think (or Ansmann, I can never remember).

Just watch that if you buy from outside of the UK, you COULD get stung for various fees etc, so factor that into any price comparisons you are doing.

Cheers,
James

stay away from the Link Delight ones, as you have to switch the camera to remote mode inorder to use the vertical frame button, very annoying... then switch it back for horizontal

if you are happy to accept that, I have a Link delight one that I dont use :) for a d40x

I think that is going to be a hard limitation for any D40/D40x/D50 grip.

The camera doesn't have electronics to trigger any other way.
