BDay Party WB Setting

Going to try and take some pictures for a birthday party

Whats the best White Balance setting for a teenage bday party,
will be indoors in evening with no natural light source. Will be using a Fuji S5600/maybe aTripod.

Is it in a house or at a venue? If in a house I would say probably tungsten. If you are using flash, the Flash is the obvious setting. Or you could use Auto WB and shoot in RAW, then adjust in PP.

tungsten i guess. Is there no way to set a manual white balance?

Will be indoors at home, Camera WB Settings are Auto, Custom, Shade, 3 florescent and Incandescent. Will prob shoot ISO 100, F8,RAW and Auto. Does this sound about right, then make any adjustments in PP.

Sounds about right to me. If you're planning to shoot at f8, I assume you'll be using flash?

I was going to but by the sound of it I will be better on a high ISO and no flash?
Been searching net for tips and seen some people use F2.3 up to F8, ISO 100-800 and 1/10-1/250s. I think I will spend some time practising see what fits best

Practice is always a good idea. Why do you think that flash is not a good idea?

Not sure what those terms mean. I normally associate Supressed as meaning not actually used.
