Hi Guys, :help:

Just pick up a "HEADLESS" :bonk: Manfrotto 190XB Tripod.

What "HEAD" would you fit on it to suit my gear listed below.....

:ty:

It all depends on what type of things you will be mainly shooting. For lots of macro then a geared head is best bit for sports maybe a heavy duty ball head, general advice is a 3 way head. That's what I have and I find it really useful for just about everything.
Your gear is medium to heavy with the big Sigma zoom attached so don't be tempted by super light weight stuff.

Personally I use the 486RC2 Ball Head, which I find suits my needs perfectly

I have the same legs, and have fitted them to the 804RC2 head, slightly more fiddly than a ball head but I wouldn't part with it

Your kit isn't that heavy, so I'd suggest a 486RC2 or 488RC2 ball head, or a 3 way head. It all depends on personal choice and what you want to photography. If in doubt, go to a good camera shop and try some out.

I have a 068QR ball head and today just brought a 804RC2 3 way Pan and tilt head to go on my 055b legs

If you want a ballhead, chek out the Manfrotto 488RC2

It has the ball head, quick release plate AND the ability to do panning (the lever on the side).
It is a very good, sturdy, lightish head and thoroughly recomended.
