Hello dear Friends, im New here and im from Switzerland, my english is a bit poor, im sry!
I oftly do some Photos for my Boss on Works in late Evening or Night. I work in Construction Business.
My Question to yous:

I Look for a Camera that is as small/compact at possible and brings good Pictures up to 1600/3200 ISO in RAW.
What u mean is best on the Market for that specual profile? Zoom and Coist of Camera is not so important, most important is realy that when i shot a Picture at 1600/3200 ISO is a good Result.

Thank u in Advance for every Mail and Tipp of you and wish u a nice Day

Sony RX100 MK 2 or newer. Don't get the MK 1
I saw this Camera is presented 2012 first time... im not a Specialist because im ask here for opinions from others, but itz unusualy that a camera is so long in the market, it shines it is a bit "state of the art" or what u mean? So this modell sony RX100 MK II is the best Camera also in 2020 for compact, RAW and High ISO up to 3200?
Thank u

I said MK 2 or newer. They improve or change over time.
The newer ones are best if you can afford them but the difference is not worth the extra money.
It will look slightly better at 1600 and 3200 ISO but cost 3 or 4 times more money.

I tell you what I will make photo at 3200 ISO today with a MK 2 and you can decide.

Do you have to use high ISO's or is using flash possible?

I suppose a lot depends on what you'll be photographing and what final result you want. Is there any chance you could post an example of the sort of final picture you're hoping to get?

Sigma FP + a prime lens might be worth a look. Full frame sensor in a relatively small body. Sony R1XR II as well. Both might be bigger than you're looking for though. They're both substantially bigger than the RX100.

Thank u so much, the size of the camera is not so important for me, the most important is realy that the camera makes as good as possible images at low light (like in atached image) without flash at high iso like 1600/3200. So i will check your opinion. thank u in advence for ur writing.

Do you need zoom or will a fixed focal length work? There are cameras like the Fuji X100F and Leica Q that have fixed, fast wide prime lenses. The latter is pretty expensive but again, will give you great results.

He wants the best hi iso, seems size isn't important. There's also the rx1rii.

I have the Sony RX100IV and it's great but for high ISO the Panasonic LX100 might be better because it has a larger sensor.

I would also consider an Olympus E-M10II or III with a fast lens for this. This would enable you to change lenses but the setup would still be very small and portable.

Actually I think that's quite a nice picture :D

If a Sony A7 is too big I'd look at 1" sensor compacts like the Sony RX series or perhaps the Panasonic TZ100 (I have one) or perhaps even a Micro Four Thirds camera like the Panasonic GX9 or GX80. These cameras offer higher image quality than a 1" camera if you think you'd like better image quality.

If you're happy with a prime lens (a lens that doesn't zoom) maybe a GX9 or GX80 with a 20mm f1.7 could be worth a look as it's a compact camera and lens set up but gives good image quality.

There's also the Sony A6000 series which is an APS-C system.

There are also SLR style micro four thirds and APS-C cameras but they're about the same size as a Sony A7 which you think is too big. A rangefinder style camera will be a little smaller.

If you get time have a look at this size comparison...

So is my X-H 1 with the pancake lens attached. Certainly not a compact!

For sure its a compact camera...? It's certainly extremely pocketable in my jacket?
Yes it is compact for its specs but it’s not “a compact”.
