Best Gallery Software?

I have used word press with gallery plugin which IMO is fantastic

there are other available however that others will mention
 
Gallery is very good. Lots of plugins but arguably not the best looking out there unless you are prepared to invest some time embedding or customising it. I think wordpress+gallery is a great idea and would give you the best of both worlds.
 
All the ones on my website have been done using Photoshops own gallery. If using CS4 you need to add it in as an extra as it does not automatically install, but all pre CS4 have it in the Bridge application

I used Gallery2 software first and found it really difficult to sort out and get to somewhere how I wanted it but was never happy/always making changes
 
I use several....

For customer galleries for purchasing I use a lightroom gallery with paypal.

for general display without purchases, I use SimpleViewer as an export from Lightroom, and they're embedded into my web pages (dead easy to manage them separately)

However, I'm now considering switching to Viewbook, so I have less to manage.
