Apart from the for sale section on TP, where do you do your online shopping for camera stuff? Lenses, bags, tripods etc :)

Bought my tripod & monopod from Redsnapper, 1st quality items & service.

Just bought a couple of filters from 7dayshop.com.
Again great, 1 filter was damaged so e-mailed them, replied in less than an hour & sent replacement same day, without even seeing the damaged one.

Another +1 for Park Cameras, although I go in there alot as well. There knowledge and experience is amazing! :)

Heres where I go:

For cameras & lenses:
Warehouse Express / Park Cameras / Ace Cameras

Filters, memory cards etc:
7dayshop or ebay

I'm glad to read that these seem to be the popular choices and I'm not paying over the odds :)

For second hand stuff I've used MPB and have absolutely no complaints. Had a bit of an issue with a flash that I purchased (turned out to be the TTL cord that Jessops sold me that was the issue rather than the flash) and Matt from MPB responded quickly and helpfully to my questions. Everything has arrived very quickly as well. Top marks

Dont forget "Flash in the pans" thread in the advertisers section for flash gear....

7 day shop are ok but just don't expect to be able to communicate with them in any way. Be warned - they have no phone number and it takes them days to reply to email.

price 10/10
customer service 1/10

Cards, film, batteries, inks and other odds and sods come from 7day if I'm not in a desperate rush.
Lenses have come from Mifsuds both via the web, 'phone and a visit to their shop.
Tripod and head came from Bob Rigby (IIRC).
Had some stuff from the Devon Camera Centre - web prices are cheaper than in their shop but the shop can't/won't match their web price so I'll order it over the web if the saving's worth the wait.
Bought PSE and an SB-600 from CameraWorld via the web.
Bought a compact from Bristol Cameras over the web and was very happy with their service - tried to buy something else and was told it was on its way when they had never sent it - NOT impressed.
Prefer to buy bodies from local stores just in case there's a problem. So far, there hasn't been a prob but I prefer to be able to deal face to face if there ever is.

Oh lord  I'm going to make you all cringe now.....

dare I mention the 'J' word?

yes - I know they're not the cheapest, or very knowledgeable, and you have to pick the right person in the shop to speak to - but being a girl, and often needing instant gratification - I know I can phone up and if they have it, it can be mine in 20mins!
