  2. It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of one of our long-standing members, Gary Coyle.
Many visitors will recognise both his work as a sports photographer, and his name as a prominent community member. He registered with Talk Photography back in 2006, not long after the start of the site and has been a regular contributor since.

It goes without saying that Gary will be sorely missed by many members, and his passing is a huge loss to the photography community.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

    Funeral details :
    Dewsbury Crematorium
    Tuesday 13th September 2016 at 2pm.
Afterwards at Batley IDLC (Batley Nash).
    All welcome.

There is also a discussion thread here if anyone wishes to add their own thoughts.

As im about to have a dapple in film photography, just wondering were is the best place to get both black & white & colour prints developed.

Or even better just have put straight onto CD so i can do the prints myself.

I get all my E6 processing (what little I do these days!) at The Darkroom.

Peak Imaging - all my 35mm work is done there. Brilliant and very quick service.

The darkroom will do a develop only service and then scan at either ~4.5Mb or ~18Mb, obviously bigger scans cost more.

IIRC develop only is about £4.10, can't remember scan prices atm, will check when I get home.

They also do good work on the processing, no complaints so far after ~30-40 rolls
